Bactoshield Is a “WOOLSAFE” solution, having all the benefits of clean and stain protection plus the added value of during the cleaning process a water-proof, antimicrobial finish is being permanently bonded and locked in place by the fluorocarbon stain protective coating. Previously, the only long term treatment for carpets was when an antimicrobial was added to the fibre during manufacture. There is no proven product on the market today that can provide cleaning and be equal in antimicrobial effectiveness, it helps prevent the growth of moulds, fungi and tinea as well as the problem bacteria like E-Coli, Staph Aureus and MRSA.
